Clash of Clans Update: Sneak Peak Unveils Grand Warden, Level 3 Witches, 2 Strategy Achievements

Clash of Clans Update

The latest Clash of Clans sneak peek news is huge: The new Clash of Clans Hero arriving with Town Hall 11 in the upcoming Clash of Clans update has been revealed and, judging from his offensive abilities, it means some exciting strategy changes for Clash of Clans players.

Called the Grand Warden, the new hero coming in the Clash of Clans update can attack from both the air and on the ground, and will be able to be upgraded to a maximum level 20 using Elixir. Grand Warden also has a passive Area of Effect (AoE) aura ability called Life Aura that will grant a Health Point (HP) boost to any friendly units within its perimeter.

While the Grand Warden’s own HP and Damage Per Second (DPS) are not the highest, the Grand Warden earns his place in Clash of Clans strategy with an active ability called Eternal Tomb. When Grand Warden uses Eternal Tomb, all friendly units within the Grand Warden’s AoE aura will become temporarily invulnerable, Super Mario star style.
Unfortunately, this power-up boost does not extend to traps, but it will allow troops being targeted by Inferno Towers to be healed.

Supercell also revealed the level 3 Witch in the recent Clash of Clans sneak peek 6. The Witches upgrade is exciting strategy change for Clash of Clans players on the offensive. This is the second troop upgrade courtesy of the new Town Hall 11 -- Level 7 Minions were the first -- coming in the soon to be released Clash of Clans update.

Currently, while on the offensive, level 1 Witches can spawn up to 3 skeletons for a max of 6 total skeletons, while level 2 Witches can spawn 4 skeletons for a maximum of 8 skeletons. This means level 3 Witches will be able to spawn a whopping 5 skeletons, for a total maximum of 10 skeletons per Witch.
This many skeletons on the battlefield at one time means big things for Clash of Clans strategy, especially considering that the new defense set to be released in the upcoming Clash of Clans update will be primarily targeting tank units.

Also revealed in Clash of Clans sneak peek 6 is that the cost of nexting, or finding a new opponent, will be reduced for Clash of Clans players with a Town Hall 10. It currently costs 1000 gold per next request.
In Clash of Clans sneak peek 7, Supercell gave Clash of Clan players a sneak peek at the new achievements that can be unlocked in the upcoming Clash of Clans update. One of these new achievements, called the Anti-Artillery Achievement, is in regards to the new defensive structure that will be unlocked with Town Hall 11. Clash of Clans players must destroy 20 of these to gain 100 Experience and 150 Emeralds.
Not much is known about the new defensive building except for its name, Eagle Artillery, but considering that, the Clash of Clans strategy use of Eagle Artillery seems self-explanatory.

The other new achievement coming in the Clash of Clans update is Sharing Is Caring, whose first star can be unlocked by donating 100 spells worth to other Clash of Clans players for a reward of 20 Experience and 20 Emeralds.
